Would Part #40-5156 Ape Bars fit on a 2008 FLSTSB Cross Bones ?

My 2007 Big Twin makes a lot of noise in fifth gear, and it "clunks" really loud when I put it into gear. The dealer says that's normal. Have you got anything to fix that?

When you say, “stock wiring harness” what exactly are you referring to? I apologize for my lack of knowledge.

Also, is the backing plate visible with the stock air cleaner cover? I guess what I’m asking is, why would someone get the chrome backing versus the aluminum?
